It has been four years since we opened Pet Doctor’s doors to the Tucson community. We started with 1 veterinarian and 6 technicians. Before our 2016 expansion, we got to the point that our staff was crawling over the top of each other to keep up with our clients. Since then we have grown to 22 technicians and 6 doctors… and now, running out of space yet again, we are expanding to a second location!
We hope this addition, located only a few miles from our full service veterinary hospital at Orange Grove and Oracle, will be an easy second option for walk-in pet vaccinations. We will be able to clear our full-service veterinary hospital's surgery schedule as well, leaving room for more specialized cases that need immediate care at our original pet hospital. Our main goals for this clinic is offering even more convenience for those looking for a quick way to get your pet's vaccines taken care of. On top of that, our brand new surgery suite will be dedicated solely to Spays and Neuters. The ability to only need to plan for these two specific procedures, reduces risk, time under anesthesia, and overhead costs for our veterinary clinic. This allows us to pass on savings to you, our clients.
In this new chapter of Pet Doctor’s story, we will be able to offer even more veterinary services to the Tucson community. Our original, full-service veterinary hospital, will continue providing exceptional care, and an improved procedural philosophy for each surgery. While our Spay and Neuter Clinic will provide even more convenience if your pet’s vaccines need updated, or they are ready for spay or neuter surgery. We are maintaining our walk-in philosophy for our original, full-service veterinary hospital. We think that the addition of the new vaccine center and spay and neuter clinic on 1st avenue will only make Pet Doctor even more convenient.
